First there is nothing "noble" about an affair. Second, the officials knew about the affair BEFORE THE ELECTION and yet they all waited until after the election to deal with it, and to resign so as not to effect the outcome of the election.

Stepping down was not noble. He got caught, and he was told when to step down. He should have "stepped down" as soon as he got caught instead of waiting until after the election.

If you read the news you would know that the FBI knew about the affair long before the election was over. Someone decided that it would hurt Obama's chances, so they kept is secret and he did not 'step down' until after the election. That is a political move.

I don't give someone the "benefit of the doubt" when I have no doubt that they postponed releasing the information of the affair until after the election for political reasons.

Divorce, affairs, etc. happen in many people's daily lives due to their own choices and how they live their lives. How they react and deal with it is their responsibility. If you want to feel sorry for him and his family and call them victims, that's your decision.

The point is, an affair with the head of the CIA ACCORDING TO LAW has to be reported and dealt with as a matter of national security. THEY DID NOT DO THAT in a timely manner because of how it might hurt the Obama campaign.
