I went to the walk in clinic here this morning with a sore throat so bad I can not swallow, I am almost in tears every time I try. We tells me what is wrong and gives me a prescription. after I do the blood work that is asked of me. I go get my prescription filled and bring them home. I open up the bag and start crying. These pills are FREAKING HUGE! I can't swollow them, and they are a capcell so I can't break it down. Do you NOT thing he could of given me some sort of liqued anti- biotic? After just saying I can't swallow? MAN I am telling you people piss me off even more when I am sick. Sorry just needed to vent.

contact your doc and ask him if he can offer you a liquid form, or you can soak the pills in water

No soaking in pills in water will change composition.
You have to take with applesauce or pudding or the like it will fit and go down.

I know what pills you are talking about. I wonder if you can break them in half. Call the pharmacy. I don't think your dr is a quack. Maybe they could have given you something for the pain at least.
