I've come to dislike the label "single." I feel it implies that I'm in some way less than complete. As if I'm missing something. I don't think it accurately describes me because I think I lead a very full life. Un-married I think is better. Any thoughts? I like the status "Single" . Just means,you are a individual. Married means, you are two in One. Well, at least you should be One then. However, you still are each a individual. lol

I would prefer the term single. However that is not even an option here when you set up your Mingle profile.

see nothing wrong in it. You either single, in a relationship, engaged, divorced, married, seperated or widowed. Whats the big deal.

Well, I guess it's comparable with single and double bed. Would you say that a single bed is somehow less complete than double? I disagree. It's good to have partners in life, but you are not incomplete without them. I agree with what u said
