Haha, as you can tell I'm new here and was kind of just put off by the huge conversations so was hoping to get one started with a few people to talk to at first.

Well I don't think too many people are willing to jump straight to chat. You may want to use the search for that and meet some girls one on one. Most the people here are in it for the forums.
