Dogs seem to understand us so well!
They sometimes behave more maturely than adult humans. They know when we need a diversion. You have a bad day at work, come home the dog is ready to reward you with love and affection. He looks into your eyes and his eyes seem to say "hey let's you and I go for a walk". And he helps you forget about your troubles.

Did you lose Cassie?
What breed was she? i found her dead earlier this spring.although i can't say exactly what happened but it looked to me like she got attacked by my neighbors dogs.she would have been 12 years old Aug 31 she was a Rat Terrier.i have pics of her on her in my profile |

Never heard of a rat terrier...sounds small. Hope she didn't suffer very long. |
