Topic: No vacancy!...Sorry I'm not available right now! | |
---|---|
It feels good to say: "Sorry I'm not available right now!" (And really mean it too!)..I'm not ready to start dating again and I know it!...Have you ever told someone that you're "not available" when you're not dating anyone? (And not in a relationship?)...Maybe I should wear a "no vacancy" sign around my neck! (Just teasing!) |

I am temporarily unavailable. Next year should be a different story.
Green Eyes, I am so sorry for your tragedy. I really can't imagine how it must feel. I hope you have someone you can talk to now and then. I lost someone I really loved (not to death, just the usual way) and also experienced not being able to listen to typical music. In desperation at the silence, I began listening to classical music stations, and learned to love that kind of music. So there was a sweet gift along with the bitterness. I hope you can find a gift waiting for you somewhere as well. |

Bravalady...Thanks for your caring post. I'm sorry about your loss too. Thanks for telling me about your "gift.".. Great that you discovered Classical music and enjoy it so much...I've been taking care of my son's 2 cats for awhile now and grew close to them. One of my son's cats died unexpectedly a few days ago and it sort of "set me back" a bit...Anyway thanks again for writing and caring. I'm going to watch for my "gifts" too.. Lately I've been thinking about all I learned from my son's cute little cat...The simpliest little things made her happy. And my son (and my husband) were this way too!

Funny thing is, no matter how 'busy' I am at certain times, I can and will make myself available for the right person. On the other hand, I find that there's no point in being too polite when it comes to dating. Some people see thru that bs line anyway and try to convince u otherwise. So why waste theirs and most importantly, your time? A simple 'I'm not interested' is what I usually tell them. If not, there's always the 'delete' and 'block' buttons

Back when I was dating I ran into a few men who seemed "too available!" (Too "needy!") They were on a "mission" to hook-up with a woman right away!...And I've seen women play this out too...Anytime I start to feel "too needy" or "too desperate" about anything I know something is wrong. How about you?

I think with me is I don't have the time to be available. And that your clothes are blood-soaked. Most times. Try to kill fewer people at work, maybe it will improve your love-life. And you DEFINITELY have to stop taking work home with you. |

I need a head start above the competition next year, I feel, if I want to get to places. I don't want to watch you being loved from the sidelines again next year. The seasons are getting shorter, and I want to come up to the plate before I get signed off from the team or the race (the human race). My fans and followers are falling away like autumn flies and leaves... hardly any of them remembers the once legendary hitter. And autumn is beconing... my life's autumn, I need one last good go at a relationship before my autumn also flees and leaves. (I don't have flees.) |

Greeneyes I am sorry for your losses. When my ex went to prison our Kids were 10,11,12. I was very unavailable for guite a wile. After about 3 years I tryed one relationship which resulted in a fabulous friend. After that I focused on my kids untill they were adults. My son the baby is now 19. I finally decided to start dating again and have been seeing the same guy for 5 months. Moral. . .take your time you will know when the time is right.

one should always be available during the Halloween Season, it's the only time of the year when it's acceptable to go out with a creep an octopus or a witch

one should always be available during the Halloween Season, it's the only time of the year when it's acceptable to go out with a creep an octopus or a witch Plus you got the arm of your date to latch onto, if a five-year-old scares you to half-dead in his or her costume. If you are lucky, your date is still there on the other end of that arm when you latch. Mwhooohahahaha. |

during Halloween season you get to call that five year old a little monster

My wish for this Halloween is that some kid scares the Chihuahua next door to death, or poisons her. Then I can stop dreaming about doing it myself.
Yapyapyapyapyapyapyapyapyapyapyap all day long, every day. Except when I dare to go out in my own backyeard, when the little *(& throws herself at the fence frothing and snarling. And yapping louder. |

I think all of you are funny, smart, and very expressive, any of you could bring something real to someones life Speak for yourself. Not all of us can bring something to the table in someone's life although it is a nice thing to say. |

You need a pellet gun. They are practically noiseless. When it went through the fence, I think it would make some noise. I'm in favor of poisoned beef, myself. I love dogs and have had several. Never really HATED one before. And I know it's not the little &*(^(&'s fault. The owners could just call her in, like the owners of the other dogs on the street do. The cops have already been called on them once. |

Ever since I moved with my mum into a tiny two-bedroomed corner house, I'd got to know the boy next door. Two years younger than me. I met him when I was five. As we got older, we both got more intense. We were inseperable. Once I moved to high school, I realised I had to tell males that I had a boyfriend. So when I told them, when one flirted with me, he looked downhearted, but I couldn't just go and swap a bond that took years to build, for a guy I hardly know. Plus I knew I'd feel way too guilty if I dumped my boyfriend. When I was single, I would say I was taken, if a guy seemed like trouble ;)
