the letter falls from her trembling hands
her son shot dead in a distant land her mind reels a lifetime lost of Sunday school and birthday cakes the sound of his voice still clearly rang "I love you mom I'll soon return again the guns of 21 ring true to honor him the f-16's proudly soar in skies so blue and white and remind us all once again: this war is our war, not forgotten not propaganda the souls and hearts of many a man committed to serve on our behalf I don't condone this endless loss but applaud those who dared to cross that great red line of fever storm where hero's are so often born I salute with dilligence those fallen by the way for which this country's freedom is delicately paved..... |

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!! May God be with those families that have lost there loved ones. But now they have been called for the highest honor there is for now they are in God's Army spreading love not hurt. They will never be forgotten. |
