Deja vu Carousel

Your touch speaks volumes.
Each kiss saturates my thoughts.
The postcard of reality is torn in half.
Speechless from heartaches lullaby.
Never finding closure, becomes a dubious enemy.
Loves dull blade is twisted in my side.
Gasping for a moments peace.
Emotionally I begin to die again.
Heartaches mosaic graffiti kindles.
Lenient tears shed for a stranger.
Whence I have become unto myself.
The mirror of my soul shatters.
So, here's a toast for the broken hearted.
Shattered glasses raised high.
Reflecting across the pieces of my soul.
