Mychal Massie strikes again...

At the Democrat National Convention, August 28, 2008, Barack Hussein Obama gave the country a glimpse of the grotesque smugness we would have to endure for the next four years by taking a swipe and sneering at Conservatives, those with traditional American values, and his opponent, John McCain.
“IF YOU DON’T HAVE FRESH IDEAS THEN YOU USE STALE TACTICS TO SCARE VOTERS.
IF YOU DON’T HAVE A RECORD TO RUN ON, THEN YOU PAINT YOUR OPPONENT AS SOMEONE PEOPLE SHOULD RUN FROM.”
Obamacare will cover illegal aliens, which makes about as much sense as rewarding a bank robber with a new debit card.

Now that Mr. Obama has failed as a president in heretofore unimaginable ways, listening to his sleazy campaign tactics today one can only wonder openly if he is a: Hypocrite? Lunatic? Pharisee? Psychotic? Charlatan? Heretic? Puppet? Maniac? Joker, Smoker, and mid-night Toker, or highly trained foreign operative with a past littered with notorious associations, no records, no conscience, and predictably schooled extensively in the art of dissembling. He’s so sociopathically absorbed he’s probably awaiting another call from the Nobel Committee, but this time thinks it should be for Economics.
Talk about a massive disassociation disorder. Obamacare was designed with the specific intent of gutting Medicare, and the pillaging of that source of funds was buried in the 3000 page avalanche of what was called The Affordable Care Act, which in retrospect must have caused him and co-conspirators like doddering Nancy Pelosi and other criminal ilk to giggle uncontrollably every time she steadied herself in front of the camera and said we’d have to read the bill to see what was in it. Well? Now we know what was in it. If serious steps are not taken immediately to eliminate this audacious misappropriation, Medicare will be bankrupt around 2020 or quite possibly sooner. When Paul Ryan argued so persuasively for instituting an alternative system for people under 55, it’s quite possible Mr. Obama did not comprehend it or wished to marginalize Ryan and his position because he was intellectually overmatched, so he’s chosen with malicious reflex to call Ryan’s idea the Republican’s hidden plan for Social Darwinism.
Social Darwinism might better be described by what have been labeled Death Panels, a vital component of the Obamacare wherein seniors will be denied care for maladies routinely covered now by Medicare and ordered to take the Eskimo Walk. His conniving, long-standing, and well-rehearsed defense against this new law, of course, was to instinctively lie and say there are no such things as death panels. It is, instead, defined euphemistically as the “Independent Payment Advisory Board” (IPAB) whose purpose is to “discuss or advise people or families” when sudden or serious illness arises in order to help them understand their “options.” Obamacare, curiously states the specific purpose of the IPAB will be to “keep costs down.” Hmmmm.
Those ailing will be told what options remain for them but make no mistake it is with the intent of rationing medical resources. If you’re a reader of this blog you might be too young to be affected immediately by this surreptitiously devious plot, yet it is a safe bet it will dramatically impact a loved one in your family in less than two years. “No, your Grandma can’t have a new hip, so she’ll just have to settle for a morphine drip.”
Obamacare will cover illegal aliens, which makes about as much sense as rewarding a bank robber with a new debit card. How does one argue with any logic whatsoever that certain transgressions are OK, and in fact bonused while others are punished, then talk about “fairness?” There is no dialectic but there is an explanation that has become all too clear, especially after this president’s unilateral and illegal disembowelment of the landmark welfare reform legislation passed into law in 1998.
The diminishing segment of the population is currently the elderly, which is guaranteed to start shrinking even quicker in a couple years. The burgeoning portion of the population is under 35, legally here, or otherwise. What better than to create in the fastest growing demographic a generational addiction to increased government dependence, by removing the need-to-work portion of the welfare bill, offering free healthcare, and do so at the expense of the elderly who aren’t going to be here much longer whether they die naturally or are given a different type of government assistance to hasten the inevitable, lest we forget in the interim that this entire hustle will result in the biggest tax increase in the history of the world and placed squarely on the backs of tax payers, small business owners, and industry.
Enough good sources have verified that it is the intent of the Obama campaign to “destroy” Mitt Romney, which is not only predictably classless, it demonstrates that the administration must rely on his cheap shot language from 2008 as somehow being a strategy, for all they have remaining is to trot out stale tactics to scare voters because they don’t have any fresh ideas, and, when you don’t have a record to run on you paint the opponent as someone to run from.
I guess that’s understandable when all you’ve got to show for yourself are four years of lip service and lawlessness, doubling of the national debt, high unemployment, a non-existent energy policy, soaring gas prices, industry shackled with draconian regulation, and cover-up of a gun running operation to Mexican drug lords. Moreover, Obama had a compliant Congress that rubber stamped his socialist-based economic agenda, which resulted primarily in stimulus money going to union coffers when it was not being handed away to pie-in-the-sky green energy dreamers who went bankrupt.
Where we were once known as a country of laws we are now known as a land devolving quickly due to a cavalierly subjective acceptance of the very codes of conduct that made it great, and it starts at the top with a man who holds the United States in utter contempt and is enabled by an attorney general and homeland chief that believe themselves omniscient. It is, perhaps, human nature to want to divert attention from a record of such futility and failure, but to do so is not consistent with the moral fabric we have seen in previous occupants of the Oval Office .
The man is not asking for a second term, he’s asking for a second chance. The question is, at what?

or an assumption of truth and authenticity from the listener

but thats a different topic

absolutely, as an individual in a public forum, I dont expect people to just ASSUME what I say is true if they dont know, they should check it out

I dont think pundits have the same thing in mind when they state untruths though,,because many who listen to them automatically take it as so because they wrote it,,,much of what was in the op can not be backed up with any FACTS, and the rest is opinion posing as fact

and unfortunately, more and more people dont discern opinion from fact if someone 'educated' or 'famous' is sharing theirs

its unfortunate if anyone infers that I feel I have superior 'knowledge'. I greatly advise ANYONE reading any posts in these threads to do further research on opinions and sources posted.

I am no expert, I am no dummy, I dont consider myself any better or less than anyone else posting their opinions here

I Am as convinced as anyone else that what I Say is true, because I am not a liar,,,,but believing oneself to be true doesnt mean one is never mistaken about the facts

it is still my assertion, from reading THESE threads at least, that most people in the forums cant discern opinion from fact

example

FACT: He didnt hire the female who was qualified but had a bad attitude.

OPINION: He has shown a bias against females.

many here would take BOTH those statements as fact if posted together.

and I rarely take anything anyone says politically in these threads, particularly when they have unfounded and unproven personal attacks and insulting labels,, as without bias

my opinion usually involve indicators like 'in my opinion', 'I think', or 'I believe'

and I will rarely use the personal smears or character assassinations regarding political candidates

No president in history has spent millions of dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.

Massie on Michelle's speech, Sept.6, 2012...

Michelle’s Outrageous Speech

Michelle Obama was either lying or delusional, or perhaps members of her family were being held hostage, and she was forced to make the outrageous claims she made in her convention speech. Whichever one or all–for people willing to weigh substance and truth over theatrical performance, half-truths and outright lies–her speech was nothing more than an attempt to live the privileged life four more years at the taxpayers’ expense.
Her statement that, “being president doesn’t change who you are, it reveals who you are,” was probably the only purely truthful thing she said all evening. Many of those who voted for him in 2008, based on his nebulous promise of hope and change, have now changed their support to “it’s time to exchange him.”
I know that my observations and comments will be criticized by those who worship at the foot of Obama’s throne, but that makes them no less true. When her speech is critiqued against the actual facts, it is as vacuous and misleading as his promise of hope and change was.

She said: “Barack knows what it means when a family struggles.” Exactly what struggles did the Obamas have? His grandparents provided a life for him that was absent the real-life struggles many of us had to endure. And, contrary to what they both have said, he inherited nearly $500,000 in bank stocks from his family. They attended the best schools on scholarships. They were adopted into an elite law firm and Bill Ayers’ father was always lurking behind the scenes lending support. They cam into office worth approximately $4 million, and according to Michelle’s mother, they are now buying a $35 million dollar estate in Hawaii. And did I mention that they were able to purchase their Chicago home because of the Chicago gangster Tony Rezko?
So, just how much do they have in common with people who have truly struggled? They’ve lived the American Dream alright, but her husband has cursed and condemned those who have actually worked to achieve the American Dream.
She said, “[Obama] wants everyone in this country to have that same opportunity, no matter who we are, or where we’re from, or what we look like, or who we love.” Perhaps because of their Neo-Leninist philosophy it has escaped her, but we already have that opportunity. Just ask Mark Zuckerman the creator/founder of Facebook. Just ask every person who was the first person in their family to attend college and then went on to start successful businesses–that her husband told them “they didn’t build.”

Ask the millions of people who are coming here illegally, why they are coming here. They will tell you they are coming here for opportunity that doesn’t exist in their countries. Her idea of achieving the American Dream is the same as her husband’s–it is predicated upon the government; America wasn’t built upon the government it was built upon the backs of exceptional men and women who believed in their inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as provided them by their Creator.
They are the ones who believe those inalienable rights should be dictated by government fiat. It was her husband who promised “to fundamentally change” America. It was she who said she was ashamed of America her entire life, and that only changed when he had won the election.
She said, “Barack has fought so hard to increase student aid and keep interest rates down because he wants every young person to fulfill their promise and be able to attend college without a mountain of debt.” I’m wondering if the people applauding that line actually understood what they were hearing. There are now more than 23 million Americans unemployed and people are graduating from college with no hope of a job commensurate with their degrees.
Going to college for the sake of going to college isn’t the answer to success. In many, if not most, instances today graduating from college, with no job, and student loans, is tantamount to a pyrrhic accomplishment.
According to CNNMoney: “College seniors who took out loans to fund their college education owed an average of $25,250. (Average Student Loan Debt Tops $25,000; 11/3/11) Add to that that many college students graduate with credit card debt, and poor job prospects–and you tell me what Obama has done for them.
The only ones truly profiting from government-backed student loans are the colleges and universities because their money is guaranteed. It is the graduates who are in debt, not knowing how they will pay it off. I wonder how many of the people, applauding that part of her speech, stopped to ask–if things are so rosy, why are so many college graduates living at home? How many of those applauding remembered her telling students that they shouldn’t seek high-paying corporate jobs, or jobs as doctors and lawyers, but that they should seek jobs as social workers and teachers.
I know that my observations and comments will be criticized by those who worship at the foot of Obama’s throne, but that makes them no less true. When her speech is critiqued against the actual facts, it is as vacuous and misleading as his promise of hope and change was.
A Sunday New York Times front page story was just as critical of Obama. The article written by Jodi Kantor said that Obama vastly overrates his capabilities and that he spends extraordinary amounts of time and energy to compete in–trivialities. (SEE: The Competitor in Chief; 9/3/12) Kantor’s article paints a chilling portrait of a man who is unfocused and lost. It is the portrait of a man who spends a lot of time practicing golf, his bowling, three-point shots–and of a man who believes he is smarter than everyone around him and spares no one his telling them said is the case.
But, just as was the case with his wife’s speech, nothing could be further from the truth.

I didn't watch the convention myself. It would have made me hurl and get really sick. I'm not going to watch the democratic one either.

I watch the Daily Show for his comments.

The political game has gotten to be totally absurd and phony. I can't stand it.
