Hell on Earth
Earth is Hell

This earth was a beautiful place
A gift to man before he was possessed
By Evil and Hatred and Greed
Beginning with Adam and Eve
and Cain and Able
Now look at us
Lying and Bleeding
Killing and Stealing
Living of this world
In this world of Sin
Where Lust is a must
and Love is unheard of
Continously provoking the wrath of God
Hell on Earth
Earth has become our Hell
The Devils demons walk among us
Cloaked as Angels with forked tongues
Angels with beckoning faces
Teasing and Taunting
Edging us along
Laughing at mans failures
and unforgiving nature
Begging for more entertainment
The Devils Angels are always watching
Following orders
Watching and Waiting
To devour another fallen soul

The Hell Of Heaven

In the burning lake of fire I burn.
Because of love I could not learn.
There was no way I could forgive.
So in darkness I choose to live.

The light burns my sensitive eyes.
Like a mole I crawl only to survive.
I am immortal and I can not die.
In my rage I can only offer alibi.

But it didn't used to be this way.
Once I could see the light of day.
I could fly but now I only squirm.
Now I am only a disgusting worm.

Once I was the chosen of God.
Now I am only his striking rod.
I am the testament of great evil.
Some folks say I am the Devil.

In my shame I will live forever.
Love's embrace I had severed.
But I will never be all alone.

The Shadow Of Ignorance

I tried to avoid you because I didn't want to feel your pain.
I fell victim to my happiness knowing that I'd see you again.
I let others wait on you and inquired how that you fared.
I watched in the shadows because I was ignorant of care.
I was high and mighty; Thinking of scripture and verse.
I could see only my view but was blinded by the reverse.
