The postal service is like water or air....you don't think much about it, take it for granted, till it's gone

It's as out-dated as the Pony-Express! A typical inefficient Government-Service! You keep calling it inefficient why? What would you do differently to make it efficient? Privatize it,as it should have been long ago!

Privatize it,as it should have been long ago! Thanks for your answer I guess. It is basically privatized. It's a seperate entity of the government. No tax dollars are used to support the PO. Yet still regulated and the government mandates the PO do certain things which is what is hurting the PO.

I really think the Postal service is just another victim of 'technology' people can send messages quicker and cheaper so now more people who did it the 'old way' will be out of work,,, keeps getting better and better, Im just waiting for the technology to become self aware and take us over completely,,,,
