I found out that the hardest thing about being a parent is leaving them go...........I think that is why we have been having some problems here at home.........I still see them as a little boy and girl who needs mom.........and I am learning to leave them go...........and beginning to realize that life is now going to be way different for all of us
|

The good news is, they'll soon come to the realization that they need mom more than ever. I wrote a paper in college about just that thing. I'll see if my mom still has it and let you read it. Hang in there. They will wise up. I did.

I also am wising up..........to the fact that they must be allowed to make their own mistakes..........and choose their own paths.............I have no hesitation in admitting that I to am also wrong...........

I love my mom. She's the best.
She says I gave her all her gray hair. I have quite a few myself and told her they were from her.

My mom is maybe 5'1 and barely weighs a 100 pounds.......... and for the first time in her life she has become outspoken about what she feels.........she is turning into a new person.........fun to watch, yet scary at times...........

I am so lucky that I still have both my parents..........not sure how much longer I will have my dad around........but I do know that I am lucky that I have had them both this long in my life..........and I am lucky have two good people who are by their sides......my Dads lady and my stepdad
