The Cabin in the Woods - GREAT! Mean Girls - Very funny...love Tina Fey. Abducted - Meh. It was ok.

the last film i saw in the theaters was lawless- excellent cast of actors i've been a fan of tom hardy for awhile and he's perfecting his roles as dubious/complicated yet not so complex human. it's actually quite violent and the star of memento plays the most deliberate, cold blooded, manipulative, ruthless character i've seen on the big screen in a long awhile (and i've seen a lot of films).

I just recently viewed "No Country for Old Men" because I had read the novel by Cormac McCarthy. The movie was quite good and an accurate adaptation of the book with a couple details that had to be added in order to clarify certain occurrences in the film. You have to let the drug deal gone bad and who screwed who go and just accept those details as window dressing for what essentially amounts to a morality play. If you are able to manage that, you can enjoy the premise.

The last movie i saw was Total Recall, everyone seems to be giving out that its nothing like the original but ive never seen that so it didnt bother me. anyway i thought it was a very good movie, had some good effects and really good action scenes so im happy

And my new favorite bad movie. Random scenes that make no sense, stop motion monsters, bad acting, odd camera angles. Oh, Winterbeast how did I miss you first time around? Mike Johnson, who would go on to co direct Corpse Bride with Tim Burton designed two of the monsters.
