Thanks for sharing Yellowrose10. I was bought up by contentious, argumentative athiests. Hence my aversion to discord. But I was the captain of the debating team at school lol. Uh oh, what does that make me? A peace loving christian debater? LOL.

So when debates get to the point you are getting worked up....walk away and give it to God. We are all different. Sometimes different can be bad but sometimes different can be good or neutral

But as far as the mods here that might not be Christian....I have all the faith in them to handle issues impartially, just as I would....or hope I do

Some of what you see here are people who have never had proper Bible study.
Their way of getting answers is to accuse us and to accuse God. Hoping our responses may have some truth they can grasp.

I pray that the Lord be merciful and open the eyes of those who truly desire to know His TRUTH. I pray that they will be filled with the knowledge of God's Word. And that they receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit, who shall abide with them and give them understanding..

Now,
Some People may not want to know God at all and they just hate Christians.
Christians are to expect these tauntings from the enemy.
These are "fiery darts".
Draw your strength for the Word.

How encouraging is it when someone tells another person that they are deceived by Say-tin or are doomed to hell?

Or how about when one tells another that unless they believe exactly the way that they do, they're not a Christian and shouldn't be in this forum?

A lot of the replys you guys post go over my head a bit,but I am learning and thats what Im here for.Debating topics as long as they dont get personal and people being open to different points of view is what its all about.I try to get my message across as best as I can but I would never say that Im right and your wrong-or try to give that impression.Your right about encouragement Ladywind,we all need it-in fact that was what I was doing yesterday for a lady I know..
