Heeey...
Im couple of days new to Mingle... was interested to meet new ppl make frnds But I'm kinda up to my ears with people who cant speak properly, either they cant type or spell or its those lame pick up lines... even after i took down my photo i still get weird requests... Even creepy old guys requesting to be their girl friend! what's with that... is it just me ?!! |

Best thing you can do really to take a laid back approach to it all, you'll get people on all sites who are bit wacky/weird, just remembe. it's down to you to whom you chat too - good luck with it all : )

Welcome to mingle and like he said you will get those types no any site. Just ignore that and have fun. There are those of us on here who and not pests and if it gets to bad just let a moderator know. Anything you need just ask

No, it is not just you. A lot of women are subjected to it on the this site and virtually any dating site. My advice to you is...
1. Use the forums. That way you can talk to people and maybe can an idea who is serious and what they are looking for. Plus you make actual friends easier that way. 2. Ignore or block those users who friend request you or message you in a way you are uncomfortable with. 3. Be aware that it will always be happened, but only you can prevent them by ruining your good time by letting them ruin your day or chase you off. 4. Just have fun. It is a pretty big site with a lot of members, a lot of forums and a lot of thoughts and ideas. Welcome to the site and good luck to you.

Hang in there. You have to winno the wheat from the chaff.
Try not to let it feel too personal. Even guys get some weirdo's. Don't feel bad about useing the delete or block options. Most won't be stupid more than once but if they are report them to moderators. By the way WELCOME TO MINGLE! |
