The constitution does not "give" us or the govt freedom or liberty... it GUARANTEES it to the people as our "God given rights" are unalienable!

The govt does NOT have to be big to do their job because their job is a simple one...protect liberty, and serve the people, defend our country and it's borders! NOTHING MORE!

hmm,, sure seems like the constitution had ALOT more words than

the government shall protect liberty, serve the people, and defend our country!

and wouldnt such a short constitution be open to all types of interpretations into what constitutes 'liberty' or 'service' or 'defense'?

The Constitution is 4 handwritten pages....Obozocare is over 7500 by itself! Typewritten, with fine print as well!

The answer to your last question is NO!

Perhaps you don't understand the definition of "UNALIENABLE"

is unalienable in the constitution?

It's in the Bill Of Rights which is the supporting document of the constitution.

The Deceleration of Independence is a backdrop to The Bill of Rights. The Deceleration is the Principles which would later be fully explained in The Bill of Rights. Natural Rights of Citizens.

is that a book written by an author about how they interpret the bill of rights? or is that actually IN THE BILL OF RIGHTS?

is it the constitution that governs or the declaration?

because we can keep picking which historical documents we want to be governed by,, but we should have a general consensus,,,,

The constitution, bill of rights, and the declaration of independence are the founding documents which dictate the laws of the land.

They are inseparable as they make a whole as the founding documents. They are not drugs to pick and choose which makes you feel better about yourself, or justify your actions.

There is also the Federalist Papers.

Important part there is SERVE THE PEOPLE. If WE have to do what they tell us, how exactly are WE being served as opposed to us serving them??? It doesn't work.

politicans serve their constituents,, 300 million individuals arent all gonna agree on how they WANT to be served

those differences are reflected in the different choices we have at election time,,and the majority wins,,,thats how its set up,,,
