The original movie Judge Dredd is one of my favorite movies and I am ery dissapointed because they decided to reboot it and not make an actual sequel. |

really wat is up with all these reboots. The original Judge dredd was great. So was the original Total recall, i hate all these reboots ruining the classics

Well, if you want to get technical, this isn't a remake of the Stallone Judge Dredd, but a supposedly more faithful adaptation of the comic.
Personally I thought the '95 Stallone version was awful. |

Stallone saying "I am the law" just makes you wanna die laughing. I am actually happy that this reboot is happening. And while I also love Verhooven's version of Total Recall, I love what I am seeing from the trailers of this new take. Love to hear Farrel say, "Consider dat a divorce".

Agreed. The Sly Stalone Judge Dredd was absolutely terrible. Not sure about this version. Will probably wait to catch it on DVD.
Watched the 1990 Total Recall film the other night. The "two weeks/Get ready for a surprise" mask removal scene still holds up. |

I am tired of people saying it was different then the comic book. EVERY movie made from a comic book is altered in some way and honestly the only way it was different then the comic book is that they showed Dredd's face which they haven't done in the comic book, yet.................

I also think this new actor playing Judge Dredd is way to small of a guy to be playing him.
