What wisdom! We also strengthen each other when temptation lurks. The key is honestly admitting/confessing our weak moments and then prayer floods in from our brothers and sisters in Christ to strengthen us.

I spend my days meditating on the Word of the Lord ... ... perhaps that is why I don't feel lonely. The Lord keeps me occupied.

I think my heart is too cold to feel lonely anymore. Hmm I wonder this sometimes too hippy. I think sometimes my lack of lonelyness is partly shutting my heart off. I find myself resisting getting too clost to someone probably out of fear of being hurt again.

We have the Spirit of God dwelling with us. We are not foolishly seeking physical gratification. If we knew then, what we know now!...

It is a cycle of Loneliness I go through; for a time, I will be right with God ignoring the longing of my heart for someone to love. Everything in my world will seem right, even though friends will ask "how can I guy like me be single?" To which I often reply I do not know, but God has a plan." But as soon as more then a days worth of free time comes by my heart goes to war against my self-control and starts longing like crazy. On the worst of nights leaving me in tears with much pleading prayers of forgiveness and dread. But then of course the sun comes up and God reminds me: “For I know the plans, I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11) Proverbs 16:4 "The LORD works out everything for his own ends--even the wicked for a day of disaster."

Have you ever felt like having someone by your side? someone who you share things with, someone who understands who you are. Someone who you are sure is gonna call or send you a text at any point in time. I feel this like every minute really am just :-l.

Yeah i get the whole lonely thing, its very hard to be with a girl who does not share faith, just cant give them wat they want cause their hearts r full of lust. As we get older we see couples together, wishing we could have the same thing, havin someone to love and be loved in return. However unless we find someone who shares our beliefs, we remain on the bench. Just watching.
