Would a "real" man or a "real" woman stay, no matter what? No. Because a real man or woman would not put up with just anything thrown at them. Consider sure... |

Through heaven, through hell. And if he stays, he is a keeper. Well, you got not much choice in the matter by that part of the game, do you? If he stays, you keep him. Because he stays on automatic. He won't leave. You can but keep him. You cannot unkeep him. Impossible. You can send him away, and he stays. You practically have to shoot him, bury him in the backyard, and move to a different city if you want to get away from him. So of course, by tautological definition, he's a keeper if he stays. --------- Of course, I get your drift. If he stays through hell or high water, he is not only "real" but he is good. So you'd want to keep him. Sure. I was just trying to be funny on the strength of lingual logic. |

Whether a marriage or not, a relationship is supposed to be about love or comfort ideally, and physically or emotionally violent and abusive actions destroy and render that comfort null. In my personal opinion, when you cross that line, you break the sanctity of whatever sort of relationship you got into to begin with, and as such owe no one anything by remaining within it. |
