I sit in the summer eve'
Thinking of thee, Where thou are The grass is better And green However, when the thoughts Of you come plainly to me Makes my leaf lonely Forest truly forever green. We never met We will never touch I wanted to hold You, this I wanted So much, I shed not one not two but thrice a tear and too my chest Of these I will treasure And clutch. Like jack and his Beanstalk, I planted These pearls, my Three loving memories, to see What would unfurl. Would they grow to amaze What would they become Fearing these likely words Fee fi fo fum. But as I climbed through My clouds and the Sun Then became clear, stood Next to me a shadow Then I knew you were near. |
