Notice verse 7, for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? And to chastise is to inflict punishment on by whipping. Cowboy...you gave the perfect verse that explains why Jesus received forty whips, was forsaken on the cross and then sent to Hell for 3 days ..he was being chastise by the Father for being unruly |

Again, after again "stoning" is not "striking" a child. Striking a child would be spanking and stuff of that nature. Stoning a child is to the death Funches, that's what stoning is. try and stay focus Cowboy....since you approve of spanking and spanking is the same as striking a child...then where is a verse in which Jesus gave definite instructions to strike children as discipline where did Jesus say anything about striking the flesh of a child to discipline them Hebrews 12:6-7 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? Chastise - to inflict punishment on (as by whipping) Notice verse 7, for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? And to chastise is to inflict punishment on by whipping. Hebrews 12:6 was taken from Proverbs 3:12 from The Old Testament...and this is proof positive that Christians are still required to follow Old Testament law |

He became unruly because of us. |

A prophecy is not a "law". A prophecy is a foreseen action to happen. Thus the prophecies of the old testament can be found in events in the new testament. |

Child Whipping was biblical discipline, not biblical Prophecy you gave pages upon pages of testimony that Christians no longer had to follow any of the Old Testament laws and that these laws no longer exist in The New Testament or part of the New Covenant... but now you know that this is not True and false gospel.... |

You're really out in left field there Funch. Hebrews 12:6 was taken from Proverbs 3:12 from The Old Testament...and this is proof positive that Christians are still required to follow Old Testament law Proverbs 3:12 is not an instruction, it is not a law, nothing it being said to do in that verse. It is a prophecy of something that is going to happen. Hebrews 12:6 is the fulfillment of that prophecy. Again, not a law, not an instruction, not any guidance, just knowledge of something that happened. |

Cowboy..the quote from Hebrews 12:6 ..states that the "Lord" will whip every son he receives so if you wish to claim that Hebrews 12:6 is prophecy about things to come pertaining to Jesus then it proves that Jesus is not Lord and that The Father is Lord ..unless you want to argue that Jesus whipped and chastise himself now you're showing how Jesus is not God |

Hebrews 12:6 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. He punishes his children in a way to correct them. then it proves that Jesus is not Lord and that The Father is Lord ..unless you want to argue that Jesus whipped and chastise himself Your simulations fall flat on their faces. God the father never whipped or chastised Jesus. Jesus is perfect in every way, never did one thing that wasn't perfect. And what does that have to do with the father being Lord or Jesus being Lord? |

Ah, that verse said no such thing. Hebrews 12:6 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. He punishes his children in a way to correct them. you said that Hebrews 12:6 was about prophecy pertaining to Jesus so wouldn't it mean that Jesus would be chasteneth by his Father And what does that have to do with the father being Lord or Jesus being Lord? the verse states that the "Lord" will chasteneth the son....pretty much clearly it up that Jesus is the son and the father is lord |

We are not brothers and sisters with Jesus. Lord God eg., Jesus is the one whom formed us, created us. No where does Jesus ever refer to his father as our father, or referring to his father by saying "your" father. |

Thus why in the beginning of the scriptures, it says God and LORD God, not Father or anything of such. |
