oh wow, she gets an A+ in the overcoming claustrophobic tendencies to me! i think i would fair better in a small tree house knowing the great outdoors is just on the other side of the door. Hi Bastet Your post got me thinking. I had a hideaway for a few years that was surrounded by trees on a little mountain. The way I had it done at times felt like a tree house. You walked outside my bedroom and off of the deck it went almost straight down. On the back side of the place the mountain continued up. It was great for hiking and having camp outs. Plus it was cool to tell folks who visited to go to the mountain at the edge of town and that's where you'll find me. I don't know if you who have moved around ever use Google map to go check out where you have stayed before, but I got curious since I haven't been back to see it in 12 years. Well looking down at it from the sky was kind of weird. Someone or the town or something turned it into a park. The house along with some of it's buildings are still there but now my old place and property is called Mt View Park. life is a trip too cool mg! i bet that was a great escape :) i've googled some tree "houses" in costa rica and if my bank account had afforded it at the time, i'd be living in the jungle as i type lol. :) |

Now, this is a place I could see myself living in. http://www.lifeedited.com/2012/06/parisian-apartment-presents-micro-luxury-living/ I concur. The landlady was pretty, warn't she. So what if I have to shower under the carpet, and cook in the toilet bowl. She was pret-ty. |

No thanks. I could barely fit my movie collection in there.

No thanks. I could barely fit my movie collection in there. Are we still talking about the landlady...? I've got to learn how to think outside the box. |
