You are still young, do not be in a hurry to set yourself up 2 getting hurt

you are 22 years old. Wow, I know people have no patience anymore but give me a break.
Get out there and meet as many people as possible. Love takes time and isn't going to be found at the click of a mouse. |

Umm...22 years old, only three posts, and only been here a little over two weeks...
Dude...take a deep breath...then ...take another one! Give it some time! Geez! Some people are on these sites for a year or more, and go through a lot of "wrong ones" before they meet a "right one" or two-maybe longer to meet a really good match. Just get to know people first...it ain't gonna happen overnight. <<<< ...ask him...he's been here for years and he still dances alone. |

I don't like this site because they only let you send 10 messages per day. They also tried to trick me into giving them my phone number to complete my profile.
Additionally, most of the people that use this site aren't who they claim to be; meaning the person in their picture is not the person you are typing with. So, don't feel bad if you're "rejected". If you don't see them in a webcam, interfacing with you in an actual conversation it's likely they are not who they claim to be anyway, and are most likely here just to bring people down. I've cancelled most of my online profiles, and I'll likely do the same here. Maybe you'd meet someone at school; if you're not going, maybe you should check it out. |

I meant 'these' sites, rather than just "this" site, in particular.

Are you kidding me right now? Do you really think you've been here long enough to claim that most of the people aren't who they claim to be? If you were to stick around long enough to give it a chance, I think you might just find that there are more people here that ARE who they claim to be than not. |

<=======I've been on this sight since 2007 I've tried just about every sight out their. They all.have scammers and fakes but in my experience Mingle has the most genuine group of people. So many of us honestly care about each. So I encourage you to post in the forums and take some time to get to know these awesome people. :)

Also the "powers that be" of this site, unless things have changed, don't even ask for your phone number, let alone try to "trick" you into it-or anything else for that matter. Anyone that actually gives this place a chance, usually stays whether they find someone to date (or more) or not, just for the forum and friends they've made here. There are a lot of good people here, but you have to actually give them a chance. Post in the forums, let them get to know you and vice versa.

Winners never quit, and quitters never win. Old and a cliche, but true.

If you only have 3 post, then you are really not trying to get to know anyone. You have to join in and start talking to everyone and put yourself out there so people can get to know you. If you are going to throw the towel in after 2 short weeks, I promise you...you will never find anyone. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT, YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU MIGHT MEET.

Maybe they still do, I don't know. They wanted a cell phone number of a person I know who tried to join Mingle. That person did not even join. It looked like giving the number was required in order to join this site. Then that person received a phone call a few days later from a solicitor trying to sell some online school or something. The person calling was under the impression that they had a valid lead from someone who requested information about the school. They didn't even join Mingle. |
