What kills me is that some of them fight so hard to disprove something they supposedly do not believe in. It's fine with me if you choose not to believe. Hut why, if you don't believe, must you make it hard for those of us that do? I just pray for them.

That must tread on anothers beliefs in life to make themselves happy and violate a fellowship............I am at a loss as to why they must attack christ instead of just not believe.
I am curious do they think they will deter faith somehow??

Do the spiritually dead know that they are spiritually dead?

No.

The life they live now is the only life they know...

They don't realize they are dead while they live.

The Lord quickens the spirit of man. Man becomes born-again!

Eternal life awaits those who have been quickened.

What makes me sad is that however much someone labours to explain to them the truths about Jesus Christ, they immediately post series of precarious questions so as to provoke perpetual arguments.

I just pray that God gives us wisdom on how to handle such situations.

In whom the god of this world

hath blinded the minds

of them which believe not,

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

who is the image of God,

should shine unto them.

2 Corinthians 4:4

The god of this world.
See Joh_12:31, Joh_12:40; Phi_3:19.

Satan is called the prince of this world, and the god of this world.
By his devices he blinds the eyes of men so they should not see the light of gospel.

In John 6:44 Jesus says, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."

In John 6:65 Jesus says, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father."

In John 17:6 Jesus says to his Heavenly Father, "I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word."

In Romans 11:7-8 the Apostle Paul says, "The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened, as it is written, 'God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.'"

I believe because I have been blessed to see so many things I cannot disbelieve.

As Carl Sagan, the noted astronomer, said during a "Cosmos" episode as he looked at the heavens. "How can there not be a God?"

Amen! Indeed there's a God the Creator of all these beautiful things that our eyes love to see. God saw beauty in what He created.

Look at an astounding way a baby grows in it's mother's womb, the way the arms, legs, embryonic tail begin to form,it's amazing how the brain, lungs, liver & kidneys take shape. How about the birds of the air that sing sweet melodies in the trees, think of the beautiful sunset, the sweeter smell of spring blossoms, look at the way a new plant emerges from a seedling until it sprouts with the leaves, stems,... this is just so miraculous! With all this and much more, how can we not believe that there's a God.

Genesis 1:31, "And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day".

What more proof do we need to comprehend that God isn't a myth but He's real!

The Bible calls them "scoffers" and "the scornful".

3, "Knowing this first,
that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts,
4, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were
from the beginning of the creation."
2Peter 3:3,4

1, Blessed is the man that walketh not
in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalms 1:1

These people have foolishly committed themselves to falsehood.

Yet,
the Lord has given every man the opportunity
to receive Jesus Christ for a foundation
upon which to trust and build their faith.

Because ye have said,

We have made a covenant with death,

and with hell are we at agreement;

when the overflowing scourge shall pass through,

it shall not come unto us:

for we have made lies our refuge,

and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD,

Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone,

a tried stone, a precious corner stone,

a sure foundation:

he that believeth shall not make haste
.

Isaiah 28:15, 16

According to Melmacian theology, God created Humans in order to have fellowship with someone; God created Melmacians in order to have something to laugh at.

Of course Melmacians were able to obtain a copy of the Bible. Do you really believe that I am the first Melmacian who ever arrived on Earth in human guise? That great Melmacian explorer Fred the Flatuent arrived on Earth in human guise during the Sixth Century C.E. He landed in the region called Alba, during which time he met a holy man called Calum Cille.

According to legend, Calum Cille performed a miracle by relieving Fred of his ...err... gaseous malady. This miracle convinced Fred that the God of Calum Cille was the real God. So, Fred took back to Melmac copies of the Scriptures used by Calum Cille.

At first, Melmacians were sceptical of Fred's story about Calum Cille, but they became convinced when people no longer fainted when Fred walked by them.
