What are you talking about? Dying isn't an action one takes, besides committing suicide. And even with attempting suicide "death" isn't an action they specifically have taken. I think you are once again dreaming about the Undead...they neither live nor die or attempt suicide..because what would be the point? ... they also don't make claims that God save their life in car accidents...why?....because they're dead this is why those that make claims that their life were saved in car accidents because of God are making claims that God killed those that didn't survive Just like Oral Roberts said...if he doesn't make 8 million dollars God is going to bring him home.....apparently God kills people if they don't give that 10 percent |

Or God is giving them a second chance to take a look at their life and repent from something(s) they once did. There's many reason's God could have done certain things. We're not God, so we know not what his reason behind something(s) is. Dying in this mortal life is not the end of life. |

Again, time and cultural differences. Do you have evidence that in that day and age, the children would refer to their moms as "mother"? Heck, even some third world cultures today don't refer to their mom as "mother" in a form of her name. whatever the biblical people referred to their female parents as ...Jesus clearly didn't address Mary as that... he instead referred to his disciples as being his female parent ...I guess they were his Queens so it's not about the day age or any cultural differences...it points more to a disrespect and hatred towards his Mother that would explain why Jesus require his disciples to hate their Mothers He didn't refer to the disciples as his mother or female parent, what are you talking about? yes he did...you have to read the story for yourself Cowboy...and stop trying to get people to spoon feed you everything Well lets see you back your claim where Jesus referred to his disciples as "mother". Jesus referring to his disciples as Mother was a claim made in the bible and the passages were presented in the "original post".... so Cowboy....to be in accordance with the teachings of Jesus...you're going to have to start calling your male friends .."Mother" I do not know the post you're speaking of, can't find it. Nor do I know of the verse you speak of. And he may not have referred to her specifically as "mother". But he did say he was her son. So if he was her son, what would she be to him? Would she not be his mother? |

He only spoke of spiritual things. If Marry had other children, Jesus didn't consider them "brothers and sisters" just because they were related by blood. This flesh and blood is only temporary, it is not eternal. This is why some "denominations" consider Jesus to be a "brother". Luke 8:19-21 19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. 20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. |
