There is technically no such thing as the 7 deadly sins anyways. No where in the scriptures will you find the term "7 deadly sins" or anything close. The 7 deadly sins is a catholic thing. see there you go again...allowing me to make you deny your Christian beliefs .....remember you were here in this forum claiming that Lust was an abomination ...or that you should only have sex to make babies and not out of Lust ..and look at you now...trying to claim that it's a Catholic belief.... shame shame shame....repent heathen Funches lol, you're comparing apples and oranges. Lust is a deadly sin, this much is true. But the TERM "7 deadly sins" is not in the scriptures. It's known as a deadly sin for it comes in many different forms, porn, discussions with the oposite sex, walking down the street looking at the women, ect. But nevertheless they are forgivable. And yes, sex is for making babies, and making love in the process. The knowing of the action that the two are doing together is possibly going to make another life, to raise, share memories with, ect. Cowboy...so you're saying that Christians that are beyond the child bearing years or those that can not have Children...should not engage in sex |

I would have faith God would show me a way to get out, no need for a fireman in that manner. But to get the fire out, would have to call the fireman to keep the fire from spreading and possibly harming other people. Cowboy...remember you were the one of fire....so what are you going to do.. call a fireman...call God...or call on yourself? Well since I was the one on fire, I guess I would burn up. But nevertheless would have been something brought on myself. Through possible actions of doing something unsafe with fire or any number of possibilities. People don't just light up in flames for no reason. And your question is still kind of weird lol, who on fire thinks of calling anything? Imagine yourself up in a ball of flames, are you really going to think to stop and call the fireman? lol. Cowboy...sometimes sh_t happens...some people accidently get caught on fire...but it's sad that you wouldn't try to help yourself but would just insist on blaming yourself and burn up |

You've been out in left field quite a bit in this thread with your attempts at belittling. Yes crap does happen, but nevertheless that crap is brought on someone themself most usually, again with some form of action they did. Not specifically setting themself on fire persay, but nevertheless an action that put them in that situation. Having faith in God to help you, doesn't mean you sit on your rump and do nothing just expecting God to hand you everything on a silver platter and do nothing yourself. God HELPS you, HELPS, he doesn't do for you, just gives YOU the way and the ability to accomplish whatever it is in question. |

That's what we call "making love". Making love isn't another term for sex in exacts. Sex is what animals do, people just doin it for the physical pleasure, ect. Making love is a great emotional connection between the two. There are many verses that state that married couples are to or can enjoy one another. 1 Corinthians 7:1-7 7 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. 6 But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. |

So thus no need to mention it in scritpure of being ok or not ok. When two people are married, they are no longer two, they are one. "Lust" is a strong desire to have. Two people married, do have one another. There is no longer a need for the desire of it specifically, for you already belong to the other. |

Of course a parylyzed person can only "sit on their rump" so to speak. The original comment of "sitting on their rump" was referring to people that CAN do things, but choose to just sit and wait for God to provide for them rather then doing it themself. Again, I request that you please keep people's comments in context and quit trying to start arguments. |

Cowboy...since you were referring to people that can do things....then what things are you referring that they must do to get God to heal them that a person that is handicap can't do? |

When two people are married, they are no longer two, they are one. didn't you claim that the love for Jesus is above that of your children wife and yourself...therefore they can't be one the love for Jesus comes first, before the love for any wife when it comes to Love ...the wife is second |

Cowboy...since you were referring to people that can do things....then what things are you referring that they must do to get God to heal them that a person that is handicap can't do? ???? Out in left field again, seems there has been some miscomunications somewhere. One has to do nothing to get God to heal one. Ask and ye shall receive. What I was meaning in my comment, was God isn't going to help someone get some food or some money for something they have to have, if they just sit around and basically wait for it fall out of the sky, eg., a bum or something. God helps those that help thereselves. If someone is doing all they can in whatever it is in question, God offers help if needed. But help only is needed once that person has done all they can do. Thus the meaning of my original comment. |
