At one time I thought I knew.
But now I don’t seem to have a clue.
I don’t seem to know where I want to be.
Or even what is right for me.
At one time I was aware.
I was ready to share.
My life and open my heart.
But now I don’t know if I can handle that part.
See I opened the door just a bit.
Thinking if I let it permit.
To feel what it is to care.
Not thinking it would bring a tear.
Because the ones that I see.
Don’t even see me.
They are not even aware.
Right past me they stare.
As if I was transparent.
Is it not apparent?
That I’m standing here.
And my heart is sincere.

That we met.
I would love with all my heart.
My love would never part.
It would be there each day.
And forever would stay.
