Obviously and particularly in this venue and similar ones, It's an odd thing to decide "who you want to be". I guess we are ALL "public personas" now? You can try to be cavalier and say, "I'm just me. What you see is what you get."....but even our omissions say something about us. Oh well, I'm just me. "Hello!" So we throw ourselves out there.....I'll admit that I might be slightly more outspoken "here"?

Obviously looking somebody in the eye whilst speaking to them is probably more preferable than just reading some words up on a screen....well to me it is anyway. But i think i can understand that there are some people who are probably very shy in real life and find it difficult to approach and socialise with others. It's a confidence thing i would imagine, and if it gives them the confidence to be more open, then that can't be a bad thing can it? Ummm...i'm just as moody and on here as i am in real life...sorry bout it

This is a funny one for me because most think I'm pretty bold, but try to get me to go out or have a date with me. Not going to happen. I have show tickets thrown at me and get asked out more than average (so my friends say) but it's hard to drag me away from my private solitaire world. You can catch me on my way to or back from tradeshows, back stage events, recordings or listening sessions but it's really hard for me to go places where regular social things happen.
