Topic: Romney Moves Closer To The Nomination! | |
---|---|
WASHINGTON -- Mitt Romney has won the Indiana, North Carolina and West Virginia presidential primaries.
The trio is certain to push Romney closer to the 1,144 delegates he needs to clinch the GOP nomination, handing him 100 or so delegates of the 288 he still needs. None of the outcomes is a surprise. Romney faces no serious challenge to the Republican nomination. Even the candidate himself is essentially ignoring Tuesday's primaries. Romney has been spending the day campaigning in Michigan, where he castigated President Obama as an "old-school liberal" whose policies would take the country backward. You may be right, you may be wrong. I still think he's the best choice this time around. I know you disagree and that's fine, cause there are plenty here and all around who have a difference of opinion.

The last source you want to trust about whether or not Ron Paul is losing is the American media. I love that man, and I live in Canada. lol

When did he win Louisiana. Didn't santorum sweep the Louisiana delegates. He didn't. Romney is going in with the pledged delegates and will win the convention before it even starts. |

What I am wondering is when are we going to start a populous vote? I mean they had the other system back in the day before the voting booths so that people that didn't get to vote had a voice. With current technology we no longer need that.

If Romney wins it will be another 4 years of obama, just a diferent color. Romney said he would sign NDAA, he said he would sign the Patriot Act, he will increase the deficit...he is a colossal loser, a rino, a big business money...a yayhoo! |

When did he win Louisiana. Didn't santorum sweep the Louisiana delegates. LP is NOT the best source for information obviously.... you can check further from here if you wish since it is an RP site. http://www.dailypaul.com/230234/jack-hunter-louisiana-win-edges-paul-closer-to-getting-name-in-nomination |

Every RP win is taking delegates from Robme's delegate count. Some are bound, yes, by state, but not the National rules (rule no. 38). They also have the option to abstain with a vote of "present" on the 1st ballot....either way Robme will come up WAY short of the needed delegates to claim the prize outright! Pauls name WILL be on the Tampa ballot now, and he can be nominated from the floor if it isn't. Some states say a vote of "present" will cause replacement of that delegate with an alternate, but most of the alternates are RP delegates too, and then it's the 2nd vote..... THAT is what the Robme camp is so upset about, and why they are OPENLY cheating or trying to deceive at the caucuses! To the surprise of some.....RP CAN still win this! Over 1/3 of the delegates are still to be elected, and RP is taking the majority of the delegates even in the bound states! |

His adoration of Romney is identical to Obama by some people on here 1st it was Perry, then Cain, then Moondoggie, then the insane one..... he has no options left.... seems the choices are as reliable as the information I don't fault anyone their choice of a candidate, but when you constantly ridicule (better word than the previous) the choices of others.... think glass house and stones.... pretty much sums it up! |

If RP wins the nomination(long shot) will he pick his son Rand for VP? Just wonderin... NO WAY! Too ethical! He'll let Rand make his own mark! And a long shot? Maybe, but the votes haven't been counted, and stranger things have happened! Look at Harding, our 29th Pres.... went to the convention with 39 delegates...... |
