who is willing to wait in the wings.

Those of you who know me, know that I just got out a horrible situation and trauma. I am not ready to date any time soon.

However, I have met someone who is such a good counterbalance to myself and willing to settle for friendship for now.

He has the attitude that if he has to wait a year or whatever, it took him so long to find someone like me that he is not in any hurry.

He is okay with risking the fact that I may never be ready to date for a good long time and if we just end up being BFF he is cool with that.

I am very much easing back into life. It's going to be very rocky but he is willing to hang out and see what happens and just be a really good friend for now.

What do you guys think?

I think that is great! One day at a time, but if you like him don't let him go!

It's wise not to rush into anything ever, especially after what you've been through.

You need time to heal, to reassess, to sort out, to get back on your feet.

Someone who truly cares will be OK with this. They'll want you to do what's best for you.
