![]() Writer1865 Mother reaches again for her weapon, her lilac phone. Who will she call in here to shut this young woman down? Mother looks once, only once, deeply into her child’s wide- open eyes. This daughter changes history as she moves to the door. “I AM NOT GOING TO DIE WITH YOU, YOU MADE YOUR CHOICE…I gotta leave now.” She looks back, eyes wide and steps nearer to her mother. In the calmest voice she can manage, speaks. “Look mom, we have to sit down and have a conversation.” ANY FEELINGS AFTER HEARING HOW THIS YOUNG WOMAN TALKS WITH HER MOTHER? |
