What does being a Christian and the length of the discussion have anything to do with one another?

Cowboy don't act dense...clearly you read the eariler posts and have an idea what took place..also by now you know that when Spidercmb can't answer a question he generally gets angry and goes off topic and this time he took a cheap shot at you ....an example of Christian Love

I don't rightly care if he took a cheap shot at me lol or if he didn't. And Spidercmb has absolutely nothing to do with what we're talking about specifically here. I asked a question, if you can't answer it, I would suggest not quoting the question. The question was not directed at anyone in specific, I did not have someone's name prior to the message. So therefore, again if you're going to quote the question, answer it. Or your response is totally irrelevant.

Cowboy.... spidercmb mention your name specifically ...stop acting like a child and trying to defend another Christian that claim that you are in the forums preaching false gospel ...

What are you talking about Funches? This is my last comment on this as it is incredibly off topic and definitly nothing about God. I don't care if he mentioned my name. MY responce did not contain a name, there for it was not directed at anyone in specific.

Yes they are the same God. LISTEN Funches, "god" is not meaning a being, not talking about an entity. "God" means authority.

in that case let's rewrite the bible

GENESIS 1:1
In The Beginning Obama created The Heavens and The Earth

JOHN 1:1
In the beginning there was the Word and the Word was with Obama and the Word was Obama

ok now can we get back on topic....can you explain why God would resort to crippling Jacob and others that don't rely on him

No I can not. I am not God the Father. I know not of his reasons specifically. I could make speculations, but that is not my place and would then possibly be spreading a lie.

you spread lies about the other biblical stories so why break a tradition

but anyway I'm not asking you to be Carnac The Magnificent and read his mind, just asking you why crippling someone that don't rely on God in order to make them rely on God has to do with "Free Will"

Has absolutely nothing to do with free will, you're the one that brought it up.

And it wasn't specifically to make him rely on God, it was just punishment for his disobedience, period.

well in Spidercmb's original post...Spidercmb claimed that God crippled Jacob so that he would rely on others "partically God"...and now you are claiming otherwise

so as usual....one of you Christians are wrong...

so in order to work out this dilemma... can you explain if Jacob has "Free Will" then why would God cripple him due to disobedience?

It matters none the reason behind Jacob being crippled. This still does NOT take away free will. It again did not force Jacob to do anything like a puppet. Nor did it refrain Jacob from doing anything again as a puppet.

Free will boils down to thought. You choose what you do or don't do. Has absolutely nothing to do with what happens to you or doesn't happen to you. That is beyond anyone's control of what happens to them or what doesn't happen to them.

it does matter especially since that is what the debate is about

I don't know what type of morals you were raise with but intentionally crippling someone simply because they used their "Free WIll" to make the choice not to rely on you,...clearly constitute as being evil

No, not true. Evil would be going against what is good. Disobeying God is evil. So I don't know what kind of morals you were raised with, but people have to face the consequence of their actions. And Jacob's consequence for his actions were being crippled. If Jacob would have been doing it correct originally, he would never had been crippled. So where exactly is this "evil" you speak of.

according to you Jacob was crippled due to his disobedience....

imagine the people including the children in the world that become crippled by the hand of God because according to you they are evil for disobeying God ...

that's why your beliefs and your God.. are Evil

So receiving a consequence for your disobedience is Evil?.. hmmm... Thought that was justice... oh wait, it is lol.

And people no longer are punished for their disobedience directly on Earth anymore. That was the law of the old covenant which has been fulfilled by the glory of God.
