Should they just ride bicycles or walk from city to city? Teleconference the concerts, if they insist on being musicians or how about this radical idea? If he really thinks that CO2 is destroying the earth, why doesn't he retire to a small village in some backwater country and live the rest of his life as a goat farmer? |

I'm not arrogant, far from it. I'm just confident that I'm right. So far, no evidence has been presented to defend the environmental movement, since their record is dismal. Instead, I have been called names. Extreme environmentalism hates humans. They would like 3/4 of all human population to die. At least. You can see their hypocrisy and disingenuousness in the fact that the leaders of the environmental movement often live lavish lifestyles. Dave Matthews -- DO as I Say, Not as I DO! Should they just ride bicycles or walk from city to city?

No cars, busses or plans for you, right? I teleconference a lot, but what do I have to do with this thread? I am not telling people that they are destroying the world when they drive to work. If I honestly believed that, I would be a hypocrite to drive around in a giant bus all over the country and put on concerts that people drive to polluting even more and then use tons of electricity for the lights, AC/heat and instruments, again adding to pollution. I drive my car and take flights whenever I want and can afford it without an ounce of guilt, so does Dave Matthews. The difference is that I don't demonize the use of fossil fuels. |

Public Transportation here is much more convenient than driving,even though there are tens of thousands of Cars driving in the City everyday. Actually being driven!

The thing is, some of the people who would encourage us lowly citizens who work for a living to walk or ride a bike or give up certain luxuries to leave a smaller footprint, they themselves, (the rich) will continue to drive around in huge buses and gas guzzling cars to their hearts content.
Why? because they want US to make a better planet so they can enjoy it any way they damn please. When the rich give up their wealth to help the planet, then I will take notice of them. |
