They do have citizens that patrol their neighborhoods, they are called Bloods and Crips!

Well first off, this appears to be a white racist post made by someone who is ignorant to non whites. Second, just as all poor areas of the US, THEY ALL HAVE CRIMINAL PROBLEMS BECAUSE BEING POOR TENDS TO BREED CERTAIN ILLS IN A LARGER RATE THAN BEING BETTER OFF.

AGAIN all poor areas have similar crime rates no matter what the populace looks like.

Only those whites who are ignorant to other people make generalizations like this.

Why do some always yell racism and call others racist? Is it ignorance or just hate? Perhaps if black communities would ask these same questions they might find meaningful answers instead of crying racism every time. That,my friend, may one of their problems.

It is difficult to address the residual issues in a community that is recovering from oppression when the oppression still happens. Not as much granted but the oppressors were left in power and were not smart enough to let go of their stupid ignorant racist ideals so they continue to repress the oppressed with their stupidity.

There are many many well adjusted functioning productive black folks out there who have chosen to disregard the difficulties caused by the ignorant whites actions that restrict them. They do not make the news because they are living by the laws and away from the extremely poor areas that noone NOONE wants to live in. And they survive despite all the bull shyte they have to deal with.

Hopefully that will stop those who keep doing it then.

I completely agree. I was pointing out the concern from the perspective of a black woman, that many seem to assume black people dont have or 'ask' about,,,

we ask, over and over and over, and we know some of the answers, but we dont live in a tunnel and its hard to get people working WITH Us to do something about the reasons,,,
