The fall was so fast and unexpected
A storm not anticipated to be. Like a dive off the steep and jagged cliff Hoping the waters below would catch her. She had heard the call from a mile below The sweet gentle sound of the open sea. Without thinking twice her heart took the leap Not that it could have been turned from it's path. There was a time she thought it was her choice Continue or walk away from the edge. Fate and destiny were words for the weak And those who give up control of their lives. But when the cold waves crash into the shore Sometimes they reach farther than expected. It wasn't her choice to be swept away Unable to fight the pull of the sea. |
