Don't get me started on Green Lantern...Ryan Reynolds..rant

I don't understand if this is good or bad.indifferent

Also...I...liked...Green Hornet. indifferent

Bad..but this is coming from someone that disliked Kick Azz, Scott Pilgrim, Sucker punch and a couple of other of that ilk that I've erased from my memory laugh

If anyone mentions that they liked The Spirit, I may just loose the will to live laugh

indifferent Oh...umm...I liked all of those. Except I haven't seen Sucker Punch. scared

For the more recent ones I've enjoyed- Spider Man 1 and 2, Thor, Captain America, Dark Knight Returns, all of the X-Men movies, The Incredible Hulk '08, Iron Man 1 and 2, Watchmen, Kick Azz.

Watchman?...really?

People watch and like different things.

Yes, apologies, I obviously forgot to add an emoticon - my excuse being it was late and I was overly tired

I'm the last one to talk about having a 'bad' taste in films and television programmes. I frequently annoy my son (for many reasons) but because I go round doing Horatio Caine poses with my glasses after watching CSI Miami episodes laugh

I liked Watchmen... in some ways more than the comic.
Pretty much all the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe I liked. Some (Captain America, Iron Man) more than others (Thor).

I liked Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, X-men 1 and 2, and Spider-Man 1 and 2. (The third Spider-Man and X-Men films were disappointing and X-Men Origins: Wolverine was just poor.)

Didn't like Ghost Rider, whilst Punisher was neat (but Punisher: War Zone was crap.)
The first two Blade films were alright for what they were trying to do and I feel like Daredevil gets so much more beef than it deserves. It was't THAT bad.

Green Lantern was pretty subpar to me and The Fantastic Four films and Ang Lee's The Hulk seemed pretty bad (granted I don't much like Fantastic Four to begin with.)

Still need to see Sucker Punch and First Class.

apologies but Torgo saying that he liked Watchman came as a bit of a surprise.

I normally enjoy reading about his taste (apart from the horror stuff) in film as it's very similar to mine - and likewise with you...but it was late and I was tired and commented when I should have let it pass.

A lot of people don't like "Watchmen". I run a movie club type thing, a bunch of people showed up for Watchmen, because I was so excited about it. The most common comment was "too many penis shots".

I'm used to being in the minority when it comes to liking some movies. There's a lot of films I love that gets a lot of hate. Then again there's lots of films I hate that get a lot of love.

Terminator needs to just stay retired.

Only james cameron should continue where he started. Continue his vison. Who in the hell wanted to see machine guns instead of plasmas lasers? I realize the war is just getting started. But I wanted to see the war in its prime. Just as James visoned it. Not some other guy's vison.

Michael bay? I'll give him a shot, I did like the new friday the 13th movie. Not much into transformer. Just makes me mad that James sold the rights now caring about the fans and what we wanted. From the movie. Salvation was okay though the second(Judgement day) had everything. Perfect acting, action.

Depends if Bay is directing or just producing, he produced the Friday The 13th remake, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, I enjoyed those, he directed the Transformers movies, I barely made it through the first one....but then again he also produced the Nightmare On Elm Street remake, and The Hitcher remake...bah there goes that theory.

Besides The Dark Knight Rises, I am actually geeking more about Prometheus/Brave/The Hobbit as upcoming films.

Avengers might be OK. I liked The Hulk and Iron Man, but did not care for Thor or Captain America so we will see.

And my other superhero (Marvel & DC) film opinions:

Fantastic Four anything sucked

Green Lantern was awful

Batman is always good for me unless Schumacher gets involved

I just can't get into Superman films honestly

If Nick is such a big Ghost Rider I would think he should be contemplating suicide after those wretched films

I actually enjoyed the Spider-Man films

I enjoyed Watchmen

I did not enjoy Green Hornet, in fact it was painful

I am pretty neutral with X-Men, just because I would have liked to have seen other characters from the mythos, so did not go as well as could have for me personally

I am sure I am forgetting plenty.

And I am frankly terrified at the rumors of a future Aquaman movie. I still think they are secretly planning to sneak it in this December and it is what the Mayans are really warning us about.

There go's the idea. For the green hornet to meet Batman(Like in the old series. I thought it was funny, but not the real green hornet. We all know.
