Whats in a poem to read.
How can words,,really feed.
Are we the writer, or the reader.
The victor or the victim.
Do we write RIGHT, or wrong.
DAMN IT MAN, IS THIS A SONG!
Words on paper to change a life,
or kill that soul, with your knife.
Cut them deep so they weep.
Let their artery bleed out,
make them really shout!!!
Just old man Webster in his stir.
making his words all purr.
Whats in a poem to read,
How can words, really feed.
Its all within, what they breed,
to plant their fruitful tiny seed.
And set back watching the reader's feed.
Was it your mind's real need.
Or the writer's knowledge to succeed...?
