WOW last night I had a bit of a spiritual realization.

An awakening of sorts - about what true reality is.

I find it hard to put into words.

But I can say that this world of duality (good and evil) is mostly an illusion.

And there is a true reality.

Say that again...In english

I don't speak English. I speak American.

Must be something in the air...
many are having similar experiences as of late.

isn't all reality illusion ...

Is that a spiritual moment?

Spirituality seems to me to be all about our inner selves (how we feel, treat, grow our inner selves) and well the connection we have to all else around us.

So I guess you are speaking of your relationship to all that is around you? And it being an illusion?

Are you an illusion too in this perception?

I do agree however that each person's reality is different. Having debated with so many different people about so many different things it has become very apparent that people's realities are so much different. Even being from the same place with what should be similar experiences, realities can be very different.

Background/intelligence/personality are what makes the reality different. What they are taught from their familial traditions and ideals, what they are told is right and wrong, personal experiences that either concrete those ideals or conflict and change a person's view of their surrounding or themselves or others or all of the above, etc....

So in your reality it is all an illusion that which is around you?

Making reality subjective to each person.

True reality is not an illusion.

What we think is reality is mostly illusion.

Each individual is unique, and has a unique perspective, therefore, so is their perception of "reality." Reality itself is what it is. Mostly people mistake illusion for reality. Everyone's perceived illusions are unique and different, that is why it seems like they experience different "realities." They are only experiencing a different perspective or point of view. They are not experiencing a different reality, it just seems like it.

Reality is always the same. Point of view and perspective is what is uniquely different.






Those are difficult questions to answer. I don't think any single individual can know the true reality. One would have to be all knowing.

So our personal reality is all we can know, and most of that is an illusion. Not all of it.

So what is real?

We are real.

We are indeed.

When we meet each other our realities intwine. 'Seeing' the other is easy.

Interfacing the individual perception of reality is not.

some humans are quite hard to understand.

I get a spiritual awakening from watching 'Vash the Stampede". It is a cool anime about this guy who is a human typhoon who leaves human casualties in his wake. It really takes me back to rehab days. Great topic. Thanks for sharing.

wouldn't True reality only amount to being True illusion

is your existence to you yourself.... a Truth?...or a True Reality?

Does it matter?

I breath therefor I am.

When I was young my mother was a giant as was my father.

Now I am the giant therefore I know that I grow.

Therefore I was as I was in a time gone by yet I am as I am now...

I am as I am also exists in this time and that which is my now is greater for it.

Reality is.

To deny it would be to accept an illusion of truth based upon the false premise that I am nothing.

Though I am but a spec of dust to that which is...

Still I am.

And I shall become who I am becoming....

AdventureBegins stated that he is now the giant which means that his parents are not longer giants which mean that his parents being giants were only an illusion ....

1. Adventure speaks as though he was "possessed" by Jesus.
2. That said, it was probably "philosophical" and not literal.

3. Depends on what you deem a "giant".
4. Ever seen Shaq next to his parents?

They aren't giants, but many proclaim "Shaq" is.

Is such an illusion? No, not to some.
Because that is "perception".

Throughout history there have been records of "Giants".
But they were, in actuality, only really tall muscular humans.

But since we are speaking of Adventure..
..I'm sure his definition of "giant" is set on an even broader scale.
