the ventriloquist

dark, whispers.
just before the shadows.
collapsing within those moments,
gathering moss,
as it rolls through hearts.
disguised truth.
lies live on
and on
off a serpent's rainbow tongue.
will strength ever
find you,
you,
you are just
lost.
in your maze of
poetic injustice, left lingering.
lost.
in your mind of
pathetic irony, left lonely.
