i think he should be taken off the team until things clear up and i do beleive this is unlike the Duke rape cases

he has been caught with drugs at an airport before and nothing happened except a slap of the wrist and a fine was payed

the other codefendent took a plea deal so vick now stands alone. the prosecutor is thinking of adding rackateering charges on top of everything and word is that vick himself may now take a plea deal.

At this point does anyone believe that A) Vick won't ALSO be copping a plea or B) dogfighters (Is that the correct term? Maybe I should say dog combat enthusiests?) everywhere are running to put some distance between what they do and themselves. Vick is going to have to roll or he's screwed.

This is all a big pissing match now and it will depend on who has the ability to piss the furthest!! Money will play a BIG part in this and vick could buy his way out. His best scenario would be if he could get an acquittal by placing doubt in the mind of just one juror. If that happens he will be free with OJ Simpson but he willstill be considered guilty by the majority in the USA. This was all done on his property with his cousin and friends. There is no way in hell that he did not know what was going on there. He was the money man...he should be punished for it.

It doesn't matter if he gets any time now or not. His name is DIRT. He has been totally exposed. He will never have another sponsor deal and he will be lucky if he gets another NFL job.

August 27th is his court and we shall see what happens to them all at that time!!

the minimum guidlines are 12 to 18 months and i don't think he'll even do that. last i heard the league was considering a two year suspension then it'll be back to playing football.
