Doesn't have to start 'in' the capital. We can start it wherever; that depends on the overall census.
I just finished Chapter Two. It's the Port City known as Poxil Flats. It's where the Disciples first arrive. ..plus, your own character history, can begin anywhere you'd like it to. ..and we don't have to start in present day terms, either. So, that's basically a choice we can make as a group. We can start our story/game while the war itself is still going on. Matters not to me. I have the story lined up for multiple ideas, and purposely left gaps for the game version for such a concept. |

Geesh I have so many ideas going through my head......
WE NEED MORE PEOPLE!!! lol |
Well, like what?
Lay them out for me a while. |

ok first off
I think each character should have their own history. A base story for us to play off of |

ok first off I think each character should have their own history. A base story for us to play off of Well, that's a given. In fact, I think I mentioned that? They can either: A. Pick a 'society' I've pre-created. or B. Be an independent. (Meaning a different society of their choosing/creation) Only problem with the independent idea is; that somehow that creator has to also create their origin; via, where they came from. I can help out with that for the most part, but I didn't leave many places 'uncivilized' nor 'unexplored' to the fullest. Some, yes, are not 'discovered' in the 'game', but I already specified what 'is' there. I'm willing to work around that though, for the game itself. :D |

so if they chose an outside city they will of course have to make a way of them getting to the society we are in
and also for them to chose one that you have precreated we would need a map and background of said societies from you |

Which can be heavily narrowed down when a race is presented to me.
Coravor, itself, is like I stated, diversified. So, to escape the prejudice of other places, most migrate here. Also the best place to make wealth. I also have a country devoted wholly to half beings. There are numerous reasons why someone would travel here, but no 'set' reason they 'have' to be there. |
I think also our meeting place should be a busy place
Some place where it would seem unlikely that all of these people met up with the main individuals |
That's why I picked Coravor.
It's the most populated continent. The capital has the most people, but the ports have a glorious amount as well. In the story, Poxil is having a parade, too. More reason for people to be there... |
I think I like Poxil....
like you said there's a parade and a celebration going on would be nothing for people from all walks of life to be there |
Exactly..
It's a two week long celebration, too. So, it'd be perfect. :) |
ok so we have the place....
now the who |
..the who? o.O
the people....
Oh, and aside from a few key landmarks used in the story..
..the cities themselves are pretty much open for 'remodeling' so to speak. Like, in the story. The bookstore, port, Massive Imperial Library etc; for example, those can't be moved.. but the rest is open. Oh, and the slums, obviously. |
well that makes sense
Heck, we could make houses for sale..
..people could live in houses, open businesses, etc. |
yes...i'm following
Trillions of options and ideas..
..but uh, it's all useless unless we get more than three of us. :/ |
exactly........
