There is this wall in the middle of nowhere. It is well hidden and strongly guarded.
Many have tried to see what is behind it and many have failed. There are those who have heard of this wall who have tried to find it but can never locate it. There are those who find it but can not get past the guards. There are those who have achieved the fete of getting past the guards. Only to be removed and have another guard added. There are those who have got past the guards only to find the wall is to big to scale. There are those who have removed bricks only to have more put in their place. Many to this day have been only adding to the defense of this great curiosity. Until you came along. It was not something you meant to find. You stumbled upon it by pure accident. And somehow you convinced the guards to leave. And with gentle and slow hands you removed each brick. And as you removed them they crumbled in your hands. Until finally there was none left. And laying there in the middle of nowhere. Now unhidden and unguarded. Was an object that because of dust and time was hard to make out exactly what it was. As you picked it up and started to remove the dust you could tell time had taken it's toll on it. It was beaten and battered with many scars. Almost completely destroyed. You began to wonder what was so precious about it that it would need to be so heavily guarded. As more dust was removed you began to realize why. Because in your hand was the most fragile and precious thing anyone could hold. And you couldn't believe that anyone could have abused it so. It was not meant to be the way it was. Left alone behind this wall. It was meant to be cherished and loved. The object you held in your hand was not a diamond or gold. It was not any kind of rare jewel or antiquity. It is not worth a lot of money nor could it be bought in a store. The object you held and hold even still...... Is My Heart. |

So dearly precious and sweet, tenderly complete.
I'll hold it close, and never let it get abused, or used...... A story told with so much love and care. I'm so glad with us, you thought to share... |
