Have you ever met a stranger,
here on this site,
exchange some emails,
and held them tight.
Listened to their hopes and fears.
shared with them,
some of your real tears.
Made them a friend
and really cared about their life.
All they lived, all their strife.
Not for a date, not to pretend.
Just because you felt.
THEY really needed a friend.
I've did this here for six years.
And their lives, cost many tears.
I held their hand, and helped them stand.
Guys and Dolls, with me, their band.
From helping with what words to say,
to letting them know.I'd be here everyday.
Suicide thoughts of their dispair.
I showed them, I REALLY did care.
Thinking abortion, I showed them truth.
as they refered me as, Dr. Ruth.
A woman battered, beaten, afraid of all men.
Fifteen years of living THAT, she hid his sin.
He had died, before we met,
but she kept inside, All of IT.
I helped her find her self, and believe.
Now she has her man, who is as nice as, please.
Telling them they could call me, anytime.
My phone had no set hours, no set time.
Six months going through chemo,and radiation.
I was with her by voice and heart, I was her medication.
I found God right here, through that friendship we shared.
I was fifty years old then, but she knew, I really cared.
Met a Judge on here, who was so sad and depressed.
Her virdicts made her feel so guilty, never any rest.
We shared many talks to help her fall asleep,
Soon she found new strength, and a friend to keep.
Behind every one of these forums and inside every page.
There is someone out here reading, suffering, or feeling rage.
Losing someone they loved so long, feeling they no longer belong,
You know me here as iam4u, happy, sappy, a man who writes poems.
But THIS is who I have always been on here, behind the typed words.
The many who I've helped, just drift away, happy in their homes.
Someday I must write a book, then your have a closer look..

This SITE,,is far MORE than just a dating Site,
It really is a place, to find Peace and God's Light.
