Yes, I love most shows from the 80's and older(huge fan of the 50's and 60's TV shows).
I'm a huge Gilligan's Island fan, also Leave It To Beaver, I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffith Show, Hogan's Heroes, Get Smart, Batman, The Green Hornet, Land Of The Giants, Lost In Space, Dragnet, The Addams Family, Star Trek, The Munsters, The Twilight Zone, to name a few. And thanks to companies like Mill Creek who are releasing DVD sets like Best Of TV Mysteries(150 episodes), Classic Scifi TV(150 episodes)and Classic TV Westerns(300 episodes), great cheap ways to see lesser known shows. |

Star trek was the best. I used to love seeing Batman and Robin climb up the building and would meet almost everybody. Though the window. Lurch(Adams family, the green hornet. Which to me that was awesome. Batman met Bruce lee.) All in the family.
Most of the shows back then. Are way betterthen the shows that come on now. |

That was always great when they had different celebs, and TV characters appear in the windows. Even Colonel Klink from Hogan's Hero's did. |

Yeah I remember that. I just looked that up on youtube. So that means Batman is friends with a nazi??? :O
But I really wish T.V. land would bring back some of the shows. Just don't wanna spend money on any of the dvd's. My job pays so poorly. |

I know, TV Land isn't what it used to be, the few classic shows it does show they just keep repeating over and over.
Though I don't get them, there are a few channels that are supposedly playing a lot of classics...Antenna TV, and ME-TV are two of them. Also I've found old shows on a couple of Religious Channels, one airs Happy Days and The Waltons, another has been showing Roy Rogers, Lassie, and some of the old cartoons. |

Wow this thread brings back a few good memories I used to watch The Waltons & The A Team every Saturday at my Granny's house when I was younger. There were a few others too, Little house on the prairie & Murder she wrote.. |

The Waltons is one of my favorite TV shows of all time, even after Richard Thomas left, the show had some really good episodes.
A-Team is still fun, definitely one of the shows I looked forward to every week when it originally aired. |

If you have a digital tv you could try rabbit ears to see what they offer on local channels. Each station here has two or three stations. |

I live too far out in the boonies to get reg TV which is why I have Sat. I miss 80's UHF channels, one of our local ones always played stuff like The Monkees, and the old Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers serials. |
