NO ONES DEATH who was loved so much around the World,,,can EVER BE LAUGHIBLE... Nor is their DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT a time to show a disrespect to them. People who didn't like her,,just need not make a reply? I really wanted to say that, but im on thin ice these days at Mingle. Im in shock! I was a huge fan. |

She was a great singer that is a fact. No one should be so judgmental of a person personal life. Yes she did a few drugs. It seems like all the great musicians have had drug or alcohol related issues.

I THINK now when I to leave THIS PLANE of living.
I'll leave my kids a note,,telling them NOT to post my death on here. As all of the ones who were jealous of me while living, or just disliked me and never had the gonads to tell me THAT living. Won't come in and kick me when I'm dead for my friends and family to have to see and feel that hurt and anger for those who feel no compassions in my dying while they live-on.. |

That's enough, folks, please return to the topic. |

I wasn't a huge fan of Whitney, but I have long wondered if she had been abused by Bobby Brown. The drugs may never tell the whole story. Their relationship was always dysfunctional in so many ways. I can't help but wonder if there were other issues as well. For instance, some of her behavior fits into bipolar disorder....and drugs could have been they way she tried coping with it.
In some ways, their relationship reminds me of a couple I know in real life, and one of them is bipolar while the other is a bit of a bad boy. Their relationship has been tumultuous and filled with frustration on both sides for more than 10 years. They aren't a good fit for each other in the really long haul, but they really do love each other too much to part ways. Whitney and Bobby seemed the same way, regardless of those of us on the outside looking in may have believed. So I can't really judge her. We don't know the whole story. All we can do is mourn the potential lost at such a young age, a person whose potential had the chance to affect millions of lives in ways we will never know. Her struggles could have - and still may - draw attention to those of others in similar situations, even though they might not have the same public exposure as someone like Whitney. May she finally find her peace... And may Bobby Brown take this opportunity to turn all those negatives into an overwhelming positive. |

With great sadness I will say good bye to a monumental talent as a singer and wish her family, friends, and fans comfort in this difficult time.
Hopefully each of us can focus on the positives in her life and take away some kind of wisdom in what she tried to impart in so exquistitly depicting fame and other human foiables with her miraculous vocalizations of human expression through her art both visiual and heard. While it is natural to marvel at her celebrity hopefully we will remember her as a person, with out casting stones on a life that may have seemed far easier than it really was. Perhaps showing her more true kindness and privacy in death than she enjoyed in her all too short life. |

I am sad to see the legend go but not the tortured person she had become in later years. All the interviews with her clearly high and out of it and clearly an an unmedicated something mentally ill and self treating. It is always sad to lose such great talent. But if you are in the industry long enough, you realize almost all great entertainers have some sort of mental or emotional problems and most of them self medicate with drugs or alcohol or everything they can find. It's very sad in general. Like most very funny comedians that I know first hand, have had very painful lives. The same with writers, etc. It's very hard to be a sober entertainer. Drugs and alcohol and things like hookers offered up to you constantly because of who you are. It is also very sad in that they can trust no one because everyone wants to ride their coat tails or is after their money. The biggest celebrity I worked for, I had an Am Ex in my name on his account and I did not tell people who did repairs and such who I was calling to have them done for because they would quadruple the price, etc. Dealing with stalkers, etc. is extremely stressful. You never know who is REALLY your friend and who just wants your money or to be associated with you. Like that damn Linkin website. My ex who is a famous programmer REFUSES to be part of social sites because of the hanger oners who want to be associated. I am sad we lost the Whitney that brought us great music. I am not sad that tortured soul was released back to heaven. Maybe she will come back in a happier format where people take care of her. I always say I want to come back as one of Mikey's dogs and be that unconditionally loved and fawned over.
