Ok, I'll be more specific. How do you know he's grieving?

this I know
for the bible tells me so

I always wanted to say that to a Christian

but anyway to be more specific .....check Genesis 6:6

after you read it...then I will allow for him to cry

He did grieve at the wickedness of man on the Earth, this much is true. But how do you know he is still grieving? Has man not turned from their wickedness? If not, why?

Genesis 6
5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

As long as there is genocide man has not turned from his evil.

So therefore God will always grieve. =)

Very good point and very true. Thank you, I did not deny the fact of God grieving, only asked how he knew God still was. Very well put.

I work on it everyday. A sin I did yesterday, I quit today. Tomorrow I'll do the same and hope to continue in my growth to honor the father.

the fact that you are going to quit today is why it's not about god but all about you....that's reason enough to allow GOd to cry

You say it's not about God in response to a comment where I said "in my growth to honor the father", very interesting the way you perceive things funches.

that's called obedience ...nothing new .....haven't you and the faithful always done that but yet it didn't stop God from grieving

so now can God weep?

God was grieving because the people were not doing as such. And why allow God to weep? Why not just change and make better what God is weeping about?

we already covered this..and if you have nothing new to say as to why God shouldn't weep.....then it's time to allow God to weep

Again, why allow God to weep? Why not repair what God is grieving about?

I'm not into causing Great Flood and drowning everyone ...so it's a good reason to allow him to weep...but not enough to cause another Flood ...do you not concur?

No, I personally try not to be a reason God grieves.

Why give him a reason to drown the world? Why bring so much heartache to him that he decides to just start over?

I was trying to allow you to be the first believer to care about what God might need....but apparently you care only about what you can get from him

so I guess I as a non-believer will be the first person in the history of all mankind to give God what he needs...a good cry

so go ahead God...stop worrying about those selfish religious heathens ...let a non-believer show you the way.....let it out God.....you poor mis-understood baby...you have my permission to cry a river ...er....remember only a river

Why give God a reason to grieve then try to comfort him in his grieving all in the same breath? Why not just stop doing what grieves God, then you will not have to comfort him, for there would be no reason to comfort him.

And besides all that, who said anything about gaining anything for themselves?

What are you talking about? Only you have mentioned any gifts. The only gift I long for from God is the gift of his love.

I wonder how many times you posted about the gift of Heaven ..or that he healed you or about the rewards

you faking amnesia is why I'm allowing God to Boo Hoo...

I wonder if anyones ever prayed for god. :-3

Somebody should do

the faithful don't actually care about God..they only care about what they can get from him ...thats why they don't pray for him but only pray to him

God created people because he was lonely or pehaps depress ..but no one ever gives God a shoulder to cry on...so I will be the first person in the history of all mankind to allow God to do this

so go ahead God...cry...let it all out ...but ...er....don't cry to much ....you might cause another Great Flood

We obey out of love, not out of direst, not out of the gaining of anything. Obeying for the gain of something would be works done in vein. We obey for he is our father, our creator. He is our "God". "God" supreme being, being in authority.
The Ultimate Disinterest?

I honor and thank God for these things you've mentioned, this much is true. But that is not the motive behind the action nor is there any "searching" for these things. Only the giving of thanks when it does happen.
