Do you believe that the world would end by 2012, according to NOSTRADASMUS? If yes will it be by rapture?

I thought that was the Mayan Calender and no, I dont believe anyone knows the date,,,,or even the year

Most academic sources maintain that the associations made between world events and Nostradamus's quatrains are largely the result of misinterpretations or mistranslations (sometimes deliberate) or else are so tenuous as to render them useless as evidence of any genuine predictive power.[3] Moreover, none of the sources listed offers any evidence that anyone has ever interpreted any of Nostradamus's quatrains specifically enough to allow a clear identification of any event in advance.[3] (from the Wiki on Nostradamus - Michel de Nostredame) It is amusing reading but lacking in specificity. Kind of like predicting that there will be a major revolution in the future that will bring a dictator to ruin or that there will be a major earthquake etc. The end of the world? Well our sun will supernova eventually and large meteors will hit earth but it remains to be seen what will be our fate in our adventure. Maybe Newt's idea for Moon colonization isn't as crazy as it sounds. Do you think his proposal was at all affected by him being in the same state as the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral at the time? The employment there used to be around 20,000 or so but for every person employed there roughly 3 people who worked outside of the center had jobs that were impacted in some way by the center. That's around 60,000 potential voters. You don't think that Newt could be pandering to these people for votes do you?

I've never been a big Nostradamus fan, though I do find it all interesting. The Mayan, Hopi, Egyptians... never said it's the end of the world. It is considered the end of an age. Predictions and prophecies are not a sure thing. The future can always be changed up until the point that it happens and the future then becomes the past. No one really knows what is going to happen, although there is a lot of speculation. All we do know is that is something is happening, (I do anyway) if for no other reason but for the very fact that the mass consciousness is manifesting it. Humanity wants things to change. Because humanity wants change, that is what must happen. It is the law of the universe. What the mass consciousness wants, the mass consciousness gets.

Our Great Great Grand Children will one day discuss what we did with our part of Now! While they worry bout the ending of their part of the same time. As reality moves. God watches over us.

Most of the crap he writes about already happened before he was even born,he is just basically saying "history repeats itself" and everyone knows the world will end but how is a guess.It could be tomorrow or 3 million years from now.

Seeing how I have no children, my Great-Great Gandkids discussing anything I, or my generation, did would be quite a feat!!!
