Depends on whether you're talking about a short or long term relationship. It is possible to not be friends with someone you're in a short term relationship with by short term I mean longer than a month but shorter than a year.

How strong is the role of friendship in a relationship or falling in love? Are they meant to coexist? I think so... believe that in my heart and wouldn't accept anything less in my own affairs. However... ... people have different ways then my own. So what ever makes for peaceful coexistence is cool by me too. Some peeps are happy to live with someone in peace and then do their own thing... each in their own way. And if that works for them... I stay mute, see?
