I got a valentine card, all the way from the Big Apple to wild wild West Australia. One day I will have to go visit this lady.

Valentines day will be a painful one for me this year, be the 1st in a long time that won't be spent with my ex and I just know it's going to bother me that she is out with her new old man that day. it has only been a couple weeks since we officially split so anything like this is hard right now. It is hard, but it gets easier. And you may look back on it later on and feel completely different about what is bringing you down right now. I don't presume to know your exact situation, but remember~ Time heals all wounds and time wounds all heels. Ah like many men I went and had kids with the wrong women, I am more upset my ideal of a family did not pan out then the loss of my partner. She is not a good person and I am way better off, just around these times you remember the good and wonder what if. Thank you for you're well wishes I appreciate them, and Hopefully it won't take too much time to resolve myself. My best Valentine's Day was when my Dad showed up with a rose and took me out for supper. You can create new traditions with your kids, too! There are lots of kinds of love to celebrate on Valentin'es Day! I was thinking about doing something like that, my mother always did something special for me on valentines day.

Does it seem funny that Valentine's day abbreviated is VD? Serioulsy though; I think people put way too much focus on Valentine's day? Why does every holiday have to be sad or stressful? You think everyone would have had enough crap dealing with Christmas. It may be the day of love but really shouldn't love be year round. Why should one day be anymore special? I feel that way about Christmas? Why do people expect me to buy them gifts because someone designated a certain day? I can buy my friends and family gifts anytime of the year I want so I don't buy gifts at Christmas. I think people need to think out of the box and not go with the flow. There, I got that rant off my chest.

OK,,so NOW I'm standing here,, the Day before Valentine's DAY. With a box of Chocolates, A bouquet of flowers, and a Heart-ON,, And no one to give them to? Thats just not right!,,,, I guess I could just return them....... well,,two of them, anyway... ANY PLANS OUT THERE FOR YOUR VALENTINE'S DAY?? Spending it alone this year.

We have Chocolate (Sale) Appreciation Day coming up tomorrow and then on Thursday we have Type II Diabetes Awareness Day (resulting from Chocolate Appreciation Day).....So cheer up little buckaroos !
