There's a fork in the road,
Which way do you go?
Do you take the hard way or the easy one where everyone goes,
Do you follow the crowd or try to make it on your own?
The easy path is lit up bright,
While the less traveled is as dark as the night,
People pass you at life's crossroad,
Each choosing their own road,
Still you stand, scared and unsure,
You no longer have any idea what you're looking for,
Torn by wanting to be safe and wanting something new,
You try to dig deep inside of you,
What desire is stronger in your heart?
Do you want to continue on with your routine or are you looking for something new to start?
So many questions you have to ask,
Do you find out who you REALLY are or do you continue to wear the mask?
Still no answers, still you make no move in either direction,
Your doubts and fears spread like an infection,
Head hung low you move toward the light,
Then you question if this decision is wrong or right,
You look to the left at the dark,
Maybe it's a new journey your supposed to embark,
Feet side by side you glance to the right,
Your heart's pounding and your nerves strung tight,
Safe and dull or risky and exciting, which do you choose?
If your wrong your the only one who'll lose,
It's your choice, only yours on how your life plays out,
No matter what choice you make there will always be fear and doubt,
But it's up to you to decide when they can come out and play,
Always remember that tomorrows just a day away,
So your standing at the crossroad, deciding which way to go,
Which path you choose, only you will know
